2011 Green Cruiser of the Year Harry Denman
Harry has been commuting from his home in Huntington Woods to Wayne State University for the last 40 years on his bicycle. Getting started with cycling at the age of 45, Harry is a great example of the health benefits of cycling.

Bicycle Rides
8am • 40 mile Detroit Ride—fast pace
Starting at the Green Alley in downtown Ferndale.
Helmets and signed waivers are required.
Please download, print, sign and bring the waiver to the ride. Waiver Link

9am • 20 mile Suburan Ride—moderate pace
Starting at the Green Alley in downtown Ferndale.
Helmets and signed waivers are required. See column on right for ride map and pick-up times

10am • 5 mile Family rideeasy pace
We start this ride in the parade and finish at the Green Alley,
Helmets and signed waivers are required, riders must obey all traffic laws, riders under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Please download, print, sign and bring the waiver to the ride. Waiver Link

All events take place in Ferndale at the Green Alley
located just west of Woodward Ave. at 9 Mile & Planavon St.
