2 Donations to the Sierra Club Michigan Chapter support our citizen engagement work, including the Chapter’s twice yearly citizen Lobby Days and on-going, in-district legislative work. Because these funds support our effective citizen based advocacy efforts, gifts to the Sierra Club are not tax-deductible.

3 Tax-deductible gifts to the Sierra Club Foundation help support Michigan Chapter educational
and administrative policy work at the state and federal level, including litigation, forest biodiversity, water
quality protection, and energy work.

4 You can truthfully say “I gave at the office” if your workplace participates in EarthShare of Michigan’s Workplace Giving program.
